The Casillas PTA’s main purposes are to be an advocate for our children by supporting quality educational programs and experiences for all Casillas students and to help strengthen the relationship between home and school by providing parents with techniques to use in supporting their children’s efforts in school.                                                                                             
Many of the PTA's activities focus on providing opportunities for families to enjoy low cost or free events at school. Look for school dances, family movie nights, Fall Festival, Family Math and Science nights, and more.

You can support the Casillas PTA by becoming a member, volunteering time, or joining one of the many working committees. Being part of the Casillas PTA is a great way to support students, meet parents and teachers, and put your talents to a good cause.

Study Island.com is a website where students can take skills tests in language arts and math (fifth grade also has Science). Casillas students are able to access this site with their own user name and password.

	Two free websites for teachers and parents, to help teachers with lesson plans and other resources that are approved by the state and the 'no child left behind' legislation. Password for both sites: OTAY-CVCA
