FREE MONEY for Casillas?
Now that I have your attention let me introduce you to Free Money, also known as Passive Fundraising. This type of fundraising works with absolutely no effort on your part. It works every day a week, every week of the year. It works behind the scenes while you go about your typical daily activities. And it is a big focus for the Casillas PTA this year.
Anytime you shop at one of the following stores -- Ralph's, Vons, Office Depot, or Target -- a percentage of your purchases can automatically be sent to Casillas. And we will be adding more stores -- like Jamba Juice -- as more programs become available.The Casillas PTA is looking to make Fundraising not only Fun but Easy….on you and your kids!!
There is FREE MONEY available from many of the stores where you already shop. For example, Ralph's, Vons, Safeway, Target, Office Depot, Jamba Juice, and many others will donate a portion of your purchase to your favorite school. We just need all the Casillas parents to sign up and choose Casillas Elementary School to get the money!
We are also involved with Box Tops for Schools, eScript, and other organizations to obtain Cash for Casillas!
All you have to do is sign up, and we've done a lot of the legwork already for you. Passive fundraising is an easy way to get Free Money that companies are willing to give to schools, money we can use to sponsor fun and educational and amazing events for Casillas students.
Jamba Juice
Jamba Juice Contributes to Casillas! As part of our ongoing commitment to (relatively) painless fundraising, the Casillas PTA is proud to offer Jamba Juice School Appreciation Cards to all the families of Casillas. Every time you go to Jamba Juice just hand them the card. When they swipe it, 10% of your purchase will automatically go to the Casillas PTA! No extra money out of your pocket is as good as it gets!
The School Appreciation Cards were sent home with students in the 2nd through 6th grades. More cards are on order for Kinder and 1st grades. We will have extra cards if you would like them (one for Mom and one for Dad?). Just have your child request them from your teacher and we'll get them to you.

Our next fundraiser is at Pat & Oscar’s on September 23rd from 11:00am-9:00pm. Flyers will be sent home in the Thursday-Grams and are needed during the time of purchase (very important!). Casillas Comet Cookbook Clearance Sale!
We still have cookbooks for sale. They currently on CLEARANCE for $1.00 and are filled with lots of delicious recipes contributed by Casillas teachers, staff and PTA parents. If you would like to purchase one, please contact Mike Peter at info@casillaspta.org.

Box Tops for Education
Find Box Tops coupons on hundreds of your favorite products. Each Box top is worth .10 cents to our school. Turn in your Box Tops coupons. Put them in the Box Tops bag in your classroom. Our PTA will collect them to be redeemed. Twice each year, Box Tops will send a check to our school for each Box Top redeemed, up to $20,000 per year!
